Day 1
Arrival to Istanbul International APT. and transfer to your hotel in Istanbul for take rest and prepare walking tour (Old City) for next day. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2
Start the day with a visit to Hippodromme was originally constructed by the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus in the late 2nd century AD. It served as a venue for chariot races and other public events. Following visit point after Hippodromme will be Blue Mosque, one of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks. Built between 1609 and 1616 during the rule of Sultan Ahmed the first, it was designed to be both a mosque and a religious complex with gorgeous blue tiles. The Hagia Sophia is next stop located opposite of Blue Mosque. regarded
as one of the marvels of architecture and engineering, the Hagia Sophia is
currently a museum with a rich history. Built in 537 AD it is still considered
the epitome of Byzantine architecture. Last visit point before lunch Basilica Cistern was built in the 6th century during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian the first. It was part of a larger water system that supplied water to the Great Palace of Constantinople. Have a lunch with view of Hagia Sophia and walk to last visit point of the day Topkapı Palace -
the imperial palace of the Ottomans. After touring the palace get back to hotel for another overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3
Catch a short domestic flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia, after meet with your guide and driver at Cappadocia APT. start the day with Cappadocia visiting, first place will be Devrent (Imagination) Valley to see unique animal shapes, formed by nature. After very short drive to Pasabagları (Monk's) Valley visit one of the well known areas in Cappadocia with spectacular fairy chimneys, have a chance take a short walk between 15-20 meters fairy chimneys and visit some of chapels from christian time and then drive to Avanos Town to see longest river of Turkey named Red River. You will have chance to see Potterry Making workshop here with a short demostration. Lunch in Avanos Town and last drive to Goreme Open Air Museum a UNESCO world heritage site. It is famous for its stunning rock-cut churches and frescoes that date back to the early Christian era. Finish the day with a Turkish
coffee to remove the exhaustion of the day while overlooking the surreal
landscape of Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4
For Optional Hot Air Balloon Tour your driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning before sunshine for your hot air balloon flight experience. After having a light breakfast
at the headquarters of the hot air balloon company, you will drive to the
takeoff area for watching the preparations of the balloons. You will start your
once in a lifetime experience and picture the best of Cappadocia from a birds
eye view. After landing, you will receive your flight certificates and will be
dropped back to your hotel around 7-7.30 AM for your second breakfast in the hotel.
Around 10.00 am your guide and driver will be in your hotel for pick you up and start the day with Uchisar Castle. The castle has a long history dating back to ancient times. It served as a fortress during Byzantine times and was used for military and strategic purposes due to its elevated position. Arrive to Pigeon Valley located very few drive after castle, it is one of most popular photo stop of Cappadocia and drive to second biggest Underground City of Cappadocia named Kaymaklı. The underground city is believed to have been used for centuries, dating back to the Hittite period (around 1200 BC). It was expanded by early Christians to escape from invasions and persecution, providing a safe refuge. Have a chance to visit the
tunnels, caves, storages, chapel, stone doors in Underground City before drive Sobesos Ancient City is a lesser-known but intriguing Roman archaeological site located in the Cappadocia region. Lunch in Urgüp Town and drive to Ortahisar Town for a view of Ortahisar Castle for chilling down before get back to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5
Flight from Cappadocia to Izmir APT. (Direct or via Istanbul APT.) and meet your driver in Izmir APT. for transfer to your hotel in Kusadası Town. Leisure time in your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 6
Meet with your driver and guide for visiting ancient city of Ephesus after a short drive. Ephesus one of the most significant cities of the Roman Empire and is renowned for its well-preserved ruins, which reflect the city’s rich history and cultural heritage as Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, the Temple of Artemis nearby, and the ancient agora (marketplace). Next, House of Virgin Mary very close to Ephesus by driving. It is believed by many to be the final resting place of Mary, the mother of Jesus. According to Christian tradition, after the Crucifixion of Jesus, Mary was entrusted to the care of the Apostle John. After having lunch in Selcuk Town keep drive to Sirince Village for complate the day. This old Greek Village known for its pictures scenery, traditional architecture, and fruit wine production. The tourists from all around the world prefer to visit this place for taking rest with enjoyable view. After all get back to hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 7
C-out from your hotel in Kusadasi and drive to Pamukkale which means Cotton Castle in Turkish. After 3 hours driving arrive that natural
park and a UNESCO site today visited by many tourists worldwide. Walk through ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was founded in the 2nd century BC. It thrived during the Roman period and became a center for health and healing, thanks to the thermal waters.The kingdom of Pergamon developed the city into a famous healing center
of the Hellenistic times, and Hierapolis started to grow rapidly when they
became allies of the Roman Empire along with the people of Pergamon. Agoras,
Baths, Theaters, and Temples were built in that time frame, and the ancient
holy pool became a secret meeting point for Cleopatra and Marcus Antonius. The
huge Roman Bath complex was converted to a museum to exhibit the relics
unearthed during the Italians' excavations at the beginning of the 20th
Century.
After exploring the ancient city and a walk over the travertines, you
will drive to Denizli Airport to catch an evening flight to Istanbul.
