Day 2 – Discovering
the Wonders of Cappadocia

day may begin before sunrise with an optional hot air balloon flight.

After breakfast, your
exploration of Cappadocia begins at the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site featuring rock-cut churches, monasteries, and beautifully

Day 3 – Underground
Cities and Traditional Villages

Today's journey begins atUchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia. Carved directly into a
massive rock formation, the castle offers breathtaking panoramic views across
valleys, villages, and distant volcanic peaks. From here, continue to Pigeon Valley, a beautiful landscape named after the thousands of pigeon houses
carved into the cliffs. For centuries, local communities used pigeons and their
valuable fertilizer to support agriculture throughout the region. The adventure
then takes you beneath the surface of Cappadocia to explore Kaymaklı Underground City. Built over many centuries, this remarkable underground
settlement once provided shelter for thousands of people during times of
invasion. As you walk through tunnels, storage rooms, kitchens, and communal
areas, you will gain a fascinating insight into how entire communities survived
underground. The day concludes in Mustafapasha, one of Cappadocia’s most
charming villages, and have a lunch here. Formerly inhabited by Greek Orthodox
families, the village is known for its elegant stone mansions, quiet streets,
and authentic atmosphere. Walking through the village offers a glimpse into a
slower pace of life and the multicultural history of the region.
Day 4 – Journey from
Cappadocia to the Black Sea

After breakfast, depart
Cappadocia and begin your scenic drive toward Trabzon on Turkey’s Black Sea
coast. As you travel north, the landscape gradually transforms from the dry
volcanic plains of Central Anatolia into the lush green mountains and forests that
characterize the Black Sea region.
The journey offers a
fascinating contrast between two of Turkey’s most distinct geographical
regions. Upon arrival in Trabzon, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing
evening in this historic coastal city that once served as an important trading
center along the Silk Road.
Day 5 – The Green
Valleys of Rize and Zilkale

Today you will discover
some of the most beautiful landscapes in northern Turkey. Traveling east toward
Rize, the road follows the Black Sea coastline before climbing into the
spectacular valleys of the Kackar Mountains. Your first destination is Camlihemsin,
a picturesque town surrounded by dense forests, rushing rivers, and traditional
wooden homes. The region is famous for its tea plantations, mountain culture,
and stunning natural beauty. Continuing deeper into the Fırtına Valley,
you will reach the magnificent Zilkale, a medieval fortress dramatically
perched on a rocky cliff high above the valley floor. Built centuries ago to
control trade routes through the mountains, the castle offers some of the most
breathtaking views in the entire Black Sea region. Surrounded by
forests, waterfalls, and rugged peaks, this area showcases a completely

Day 6 – Sumela

destinations.
Upon arrival, transfer to
your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. This free afternoon
offers the perfect opportunity to begin exploring the city at your own pace.
You may choose to stroll through the historic streets, visit local cafés,
admire views of the Bosphorus, or simply relax after your journey through
Cappadocia and the Black Sea region.
As evening falls,
Istanbul reveals another side of its character, with illuminated mosques,
lively neighborhoods, and countless dining options showcasing the rich flavors
of Turkish cuisine.
Day 8 – Exploring the
Historic Heart of Istanbul

Today is dedicated to
discovering the treasures of Istanbul’s Old City, where centuries of history
come together within walking distance of one another.
Your exploration begins
at Hagia Sophia, one of the world's greatest architectural masterpieces.
Originally constructed as a cathedral in the sixth century, it later served as
a mosque and museum before once again becoming a place of worship. Its
magnificent dome and remarkable history have captivated visitors for centuries.
A short walk brings you to the Blue Mosque, famous for its elegant
architecture, six minarets, and beautiful blue Iznik tiles that decorate its
interior. Standing opposite Hagia Sophia, the mosque remains one of Istanbul’s
most iconic landmarks. Continue to Topkapi Palace, the former residence
of Ottoman sultans for nearly four hundred years. Overlooking the Bosphorus and
the Golden Horn, the palace offers fascinating insights into the grandeur of
the Ottoman Empire through its courtyards, pavilions, imperial collections, and
treasury. Have a lunch and the journey through history continues beneath the

of historic waterfront palaces, elegant Ottoman mansions, impressive
fortresses, and modern neighborhoods lining the shores of the famous strait. Following
the cruise, continue to the Spice Market, a vibrant and colorful bazaar
that has been attracting merchants and travelers since the seventeenth century.
The market is filled with the aromas of exotic spices, Turkish delights, teas,
dried fruits, and countless local specialties. Have a lunch and later, visit Taksim Square, considered the modern heart of Istanbul. The surrounding area

depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some final moments in Istanbul before
your transfer to Istanbul Airport.
