Day 1 Cappadocia // Overnight in Cappadocia
After breakfast meet with your guide, tour to Castle of Uchisar, Open Air Museum of Goreme. Hike through Rose Valley to Cavusin.Climb up through the tunnels of Uchisar rock this morning for a striking panoramic view, then continue to the extraordinary Goreme Open Air Museum to see the painted churches and troglodytic monastic dwellings. After lunch drive to the rabbit warren-like village of old Cavusin and walk through the colorful Rose Valley with its rock-cut churches, viewpoints, and stunning vistas to the Sunset Point (3hrs – graded easy).
Day 2 Cappadocia // Overnight in Cappadocia

breakfast half day tour to Pigeon Valley
Hike, Kayamakli, Soganli Valley.
Set off on foot along the Pigeon Valley trail from Uchisar to Goreme (2.5 hrs – graded easy). This scenic valley generally slopes downhill and is named after the many dovecotes carved into the rocks and cliffs. From Goreme you will be driven to Kaymakli Underground City to explore the cellars, stables and houses of this underground city, before continuing on to the beautiful Soganli Valleyfor a taste of off the beaten track Cappadocia.

breakfast explore
the former monastic complex of Zelve, then drive on to Pasabagi –
one of Cappadocia’s most famous valleys. Next, drive to Goreme and begin you
walk through the Sword and Red Valleys to the rock hewn Kizlar
Kalesi monastery (2.5 hrs – graded easy).The path takes you through more
jaw-dropping scenery, past the giant shards of rock that give Sword Valley its
name, and on to the richly colored rock formations that make Red Valley so
remarkable.

The last stop of today’s touring before returning to the hotel is Avanos, after we have lunch the famous town of Cappadocia that was established by the Hittites on the riverbanks of Halys River. Making use of the red clay that is obtained from the shores of this famous river, Hittites created outstanding examples of pottery ware and used potters’ wheel as early as 2nd millennia BC. You will visit one of the studios of a pottery artist of Cappadocia and watch the interactive presentation of creating masterpieces of pottery and ceramics.
